We use cookies on the Approved By Design website to collect information about how visitors use the website and to collect standard analytics to gather data to enhance the performance of our website. This is important to us as we want to improve the visitor's journey when you browse our website and ensure that it is as user-friendly as possible.
We use cookies to keep track of the items in your shopping basket and to deal with payment. We may also use cookies to understand customer shopping patterns and how customers select the products and services they ultimately buy, and to measure the success of our advertising and promotional campaigns.
In addition to the cookies managed by Approved By Design and the service providers who help us run our site efficiently, some cookies are set by other companies which are part of wider advertising networks. This site uses cookies from Google and Shopify which provide you with advertising tailored to your preferences (both on this and other websites). These cookies help determine when people go on to purchase advertised goods or services, and they avoid you receiving the same adverts too many times.
However, none of these cookies gather any personally identifying information such as a person's name or e-mail address. Any information gathered by the use of cookies is compiled on an aggregate or anonymous basis.

Like most other businesses, we use an email analytics service to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. Approved By Design marketing emails contain a pixel which tracks how many emails were sent, how many were opened and whether links in the email were followed (“click through rates”).
The information returned to Approved By Design includes the time, location, email address (addressee only), whether the email was forwarded, the operating system and device used to read the email, as well as IP address. We use this on an anonymous basis to measure the performance of our email messages so we can improve the relevance and effectiveness of our email marketing. This information is not added to your customer profile, nor is it used to make any decisions about individual customers.
To disable email analytics, you can change the settings in your email client (e.g. Outlook) or web service so that images in emails (including tracking pixels) are not loaded automatically. You can find out how to do this in the settings for your email client or web service.
Alternatively if you choose to opt out of receiving marketing emails from Approved By Design, you will no longer receive any of the tracking pixels that are associated with them. But of course by doing so you will miss out on all the latest products, offers and exclusive opportunities provided by Approved By Design.

Children’s Data
The Services are not intended to be used by children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information about children.
